Representative Mahoney is happy to send commemorative greetings to District residents to acknowledge special events or occasions, including birthdays or anniversaries; Eagle Scout or Girl Scout Gold Award recipients; and other special requests as determined on an individual basis.
How to Request a Special Recognition
You may request a greeting by postal mail, fax, or email using the contact information below. In your request, please specify the following:
- type of greeting you would like (letter, citation, resolution, proclamation)
- the date of the event
- the name and prefix (Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc.) of the recipient
- the mailing address to which you would like the greeting sent or if you would like to invite the Senator to present it
- any specific instructions (i.e. "Please mail flat for framing")
For birthday requests, please include the recipient's age.
For anniversary requests, please include the names of both spouses and the number of years married.
To ensure that you receive your greeting on time, please be sure to submit your request at least three weeks prior to the event being recognized.
